Govesan was founded in 1965 for the manufacture and marketing of decorative liquid paints. Following success in this market, Govesan started to develop and produce thermoset coating powders in 1974 so that today, the company is one of the oldest and most experienced in the Industry.
Continued growth since that time prompted Govesan in 1993 to merge its corporate headquarters and manufacturing plant in a 120,000 sq ft (12,000 sq meter) state of the art facility in Madrid, Spain.
In 1999 Govesan opened a brand new 50,000 sq ft (5000 sq meter) factory in York, Pennsylvania to supply the North American market. This facility is modelled on the successful Madrid operation and represents a first phase investment with a further expansion under planning.
With these impressive facilities, Govesan can reliably supply customers around the World continuing its renowned tradition for quality, innovation and service.
Govesan's products which are noted for their consistency are used in a wide variety of applications including office furniture, computers, architectural components, automotive parts, household appliances and many more besides.
