APPLICATION
The surface to be painted must be completely free of grease, dust and rust.
The powder coating may be applied manually, automatically or semi-automatically.
Polymerization takes place in a convection oven between 130 and 220º C. Infrared heat may be used for drying in certain cases.

PREPARING THE SURFACE
It is extremely important to determine the best technique for obtaining the optimum finish. The manner in which the surfaces are treated will determine whether or not the finished pieces obtain the required adherence, and chemical and mechanical resistance.

The system to be used will depend on the base material to be treated and the required physical and/or chemical resistance.

METHODS OF APPLICATION
Electrostatic equipment
Tribo-electric or friction equipment
Mixed tribo-electrostatic equipment

CURING THE POWDER COAT
all types of GOVESAN coating have a wide range of polymerization times and temperatures, making them highly flexible and adaptable to different types of ovens and various assembly line speeds.

Graphs of curing times and temperatures are included in the studies of each family of coatings.
