GOVESAN RP
Saturated acid type polyester resin based system with TGIC hardeners. Powder coating recommended for both indoor and outdoor use. This coating has excellent outdoor duraility along with strong resistance to over-baking, excellent mechanical resistance and an aesthetic surface appearance.
PRODUCT PROPERTIES
Type of resin: Polyester TGIC
Density: 1.2 to 1.75 gr/cubic cm (depending on color)
Particle: 10-100 microns (90%)
Storage: Maximum (dry place) for a stay the same as epoxy and hybrid 30ºC for 1 year.
RANGE OF POLYMERIZATION
As before, it is imiportant to note that the times and temperatures in the following graph refer to temperatures of the material and NOT pyrometric temperatures in the oven.
SURFACE PROPERTIES
Mechanical tests have been done on white LFQX 8/10 metal plate with grease removed using a vaporized chlorate grease remover. The surface thickness was 50 microns and polymerization took place at 190º C for 15 minutes.
