Govesan uses a stringent four-stage manufacturing quality control process to provide customers with the best product possible. To meet its zero rejection goal, Govesan utilizes one lab specialist for every two people in production. Powder coatings are shipped only after the product meets the toughest quality requirements, which include:
- Materials Certification. All raw materials used in production must be certified by the supplier to verify quality. all certified materials are submitted to random samplings. Substitutions are not allowed.
- Pre-mix Testing. Before extruding, the pre-mix needs to meet approval for color, gloss and physical properties.
- Pre-grinding Analysis. Once approved in the lab, the pre-mix is extruded and chopped and a sample is sent to the lab for color, gloss and physical property testing.
- Final Product Sampling. The final product is sampled during production for analysis of color, gloss, physical properties and particle size distribution.
